Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Gamble!
If you enjoy a cocktail ever so often, keep your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your money belt, and keep all money, plastic credit and checks out of the casino. Take only the cash you intend to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you intend to burn and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You could have a success after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to hit a marathon toss at a hot craps game. Don’t forget that account because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and wager. The two just don’t go well together.
Keeping your money back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but preventative actions for drastic actions is a requirement. If you gamble to succeed, then don’t drink and play. If you can afford to burn your cash without a concern, then consume all the complimentary beer your stomach can handle, but do not pack charge cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your hooched up brain loses everything!
Permit me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then jump on the internet to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the coziness of my house, but because I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink and wager.
How come? Even though I don’t drink a lot, when I drink, it is clearly sufficient to befuddle my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both create a ferocious, and expensive, cocktail.
